Meet Our Queen

On March 15, 2025 I had the honour to be installed as Queen of Al Amira No. 157 along with my officers. I would like to thank the Installing Officers for doing a great job. Thanks to my family friends and guests who travelled to attend this event.
I joined Daughters of the Nile in 2002, and had to travel back and forth from Fort McMurray to attend session. During this time, I was the Canadian and America Bearer as well as Temple Banner Bearer. In 2012 I moved to Edmonton and was able to regularly Session. In 2014, I was asked by my very wonderful Friend Queen Laverne, to accept the position of Chaplain and held for 5 years. I enjoyed the many aspects of being Chaplain and I always persevered to do my very best. I ran for the office of Princess Badoura.
This year 2025, I have the honour of becoming Queen of Al Amira Temple No 157. Al Amira No 157 is a very hard working Temple. We make sewed items, toy, stuffies clothing for the children, and purchase school supplies that are sent to the Shrine Hospital Canada in Montreal.  I am looking forward to continuing our Temple’s teamwork as we help our Shriners Children in Canada.
